Can I connect a GPS tracker or watch and see distance covered?

Understand which stats come from match records and what to check before relying on wearable data.

Steps

  1. Start by identifying the metric you need: distance, speed, heart rate or minutes played. Goals, cards, appearances and attendance come from different records and do not establish distance covered.
  2. Check your GPS or watch provider for the original session and player. Confirm the session date, units and which player wore the device before using its measurements in a coaching review.
  3. For an EasyChamp connection, contact support with the provider name, device model and a sample export with personal information removed. Confirm the supported import or connection before buying equipment for that purpose.
  4. Use the current club statistics for the match events and participation actually recorded. Keep external measurements with their source until a supported integration is confirmed for your club.

The current Club app and console do not offer a general self-service GPS, Garmin, Strava or Apple Watch connection. Watch at watch.easychamp.com is the sports-following website; it is not a wearable-device connector.
