When you charge entry fees

Online entry-fee collection unlocks on the League plan. When your teams pay, three things come off the top — your plan, our per-entry fee, and Stripe's own processing. Entry fees are charged to your connected Stripe account under Stripe's Connect program; Stripe pays out on its standard schedule (typically 2–7 days; onboarding/KYC can take a few days).

Is it really free?
Yes. Coach and Sim are free to play in full. Leagues has a free tier that runs one real competition — 16 teams, the whole engine, a public page — forever, no card, no trial clock. Free score predictions are available on supported Watch fixtures.
What's the catch?
There are exactly three, all printed above: free public pages carry a “Powered by EasyChamp” line; the free tier tops out (a second simultaneous competition or team #17 needs a plan); and when you charge entry fees we take $0.45–1% per entry. That's the business model — no ads, no selling your data.
Are Coin Picks or coin packs available?
Not currently. Coin Picks and purchases are behind separate public gates, and both gates are off. Free score predictions remain independent.
Can I cash coins out?
No. Never — not into cash, not into credit, not into anything with a price tag. Coins are a score, not a currency; that's the design, not the fine print.
What do you take when I charge entry fees?
$0.45 per entry up to $25, 1% above that — plus Stripe's own processing fees and your plan price. The money itself settles to your connected Stripe account, not ours; Stripe pays you out on its standard schedule.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, self-serve — no call, no retention flow. You drop back to the free tier and your data stays exportable, so leaving is as easy as joining.
Do players need to pay?
Not to us, ever — players and fans never pay EasyChamp, on any tier. If your league charges an entry fee, that's your price, set by you, paid to you.
