Spond alternative for leagues and tournaments
Spond is a free app for team events, availability, messaging and payments, and its match events let an admin record the score. A search of its help centre for “standings” returns no articles. EasyChamp is the league engine: fixtures generated from the format, the table computed from every score, single and double elimination, and a public league site at your own easychamp.com address, all on the Free plan. Spond's quoted payment fee includes processing. EasyChamp charges no transaction fee; payment processing applies separately.

Switching
Moving from Spond
Many leagues keep Spond for team messaging and availability and run the competition on EasyChamp; the two do different jobs. /spond-league-tables walks through that split.
Payment totals depend on the amount, country and method. Using the dated USD Spond rate and the US Stripe estimate, a $50 entry costs $2.65 on Spond and $1.75 in processing on EasyChamp; a $10 drop-in costs $1.33 and $0.59 respectively. EasyChamp's transaction fee is $0.
There is no import from Spond. Teams and players can be imported from a spreadsheet (CSV) in the console. Historical results migration is delivered with Club App Pro engagements. You create the competition, pick the format, generate the fixtures and adjust dates with the bulk scheduler.

Is Spond free?
Its home page says “A free app trusted by over 12 million people to organize sports and activities”. Payments collected through Spond Club carry a transaction fee (3.29% + $1.00 in USD, which includes Stripe), and the Club Website is a monthly subscription after a six-month free trial (read 2026-09-22).
Does Spond have league tables?
Spond match events let an admin record the score and choose whether members see it. On 2026-09-22 we found no help-centre article on league tables or standings: searches for “standings” and “fixtures” returned none. If Spond adds one, this ledger will say so.
Which fee is lower, Spond's or EasyChamp's?
EasyChamp's transaction fee is $0. With the dated US Stripe processing estimate, the cost is $1.75 on a $50 entry, compared with $2.65 using Spond's dated all-in rate. Actual costs depend on the country, currency and payment method.
Can I use Spond and EasyChamp together?
Yes. Teams keep Spond for chat and availability; the league's fixtures, table and bracket live on EasyChamp, and its public pages need no login.
Can I import my Spond groups?
