Steps
- Open the Chat tab. Rooms are grouped into Club, My teams, Matchday and Direct.
- To start a conversation, choose New conversation, then Choose people or Create group, then Start chat.
- The first time you chat, read the terms of use and choose Agree and continue.
- Type in the Message the team box and choose Send.
- To get alerts, choose Turn on notifications on the chat card. You can also go to Profile, then Communication, then Enable notifications, and use Send a test notification to check it works.
- On iPhone
- If you chose Don't Allow when iOS first asked, go to Profile, then Communication, and use Open phone settings to allow notifications for your club's app.
- On Android
- Android lets you tune three channels separately in the phone's app settings: Chat messages, Mentions and announcements, and Schedule and reminders.
The Chat tab only appears when your club has chat turned on. Coaches and admins open team rooms.
