Steps
- Open Match Center and the correct fixture. Check the competition, teams and date.
- Choose Goal under the scoring team. The form opens for that team immediately. Search Player by name or game shirt number, then choose the scorer. Current photos help identify the player; a missing number stays blank. Example: Harbor Lions, Alex Rivera, Minute 38. The player must be registered for this team in this competition.
- In Assist (optional), search the teammate who made the verified assist or keep No assist. Only that team is offered, and the scorer cannot assist themself. Do not guess from the team score.
- Choose Open play, Penalty, Free kick or Corner kick when that describes the goal. Use More events → Penalty goal for the dedicated penalty-statistics classification. A missed shot is not a Goal event.
- Enter cumulative elapsed match time only when known: 38, 35:24, or football added time 45+2. For added time, use 45+2 in Minute or 45 in Minute and 2 in Stoppage, without entering it twice. Leave time blank when unknown; add pitch location only when observed.
- Review and choose Save event. Reopen the timeline and player statistics. Edit an existing goal to add a missing assist. More events → Assist is available for a separately verified credit; never record the same assist both ways.
The video uses finished Console controls with fictional players, current photos, game squad numbers, timeline and sport settings supplied only in the recording browser. Demonstration entries remain unsaved. In your own match, review the official report, save, reopen and verify the result.
