How do I add goal scorers, assists and yellow or red cards?

Steps

1. Open the competition, choose the fixture and open its match center. Confirm the teams, date and score before editing.
2. Use the match-event controls to add the event type supported by that sport. For football, choose the goal, assist, yellow card or red card as appropriate.
3. Choose the event under the correct team, then search its registered player by name or game shirt number. Enter cumulative elapsed match time only when known. Check similarly named players and whether the event is an own goal or penalty before saving.
4. Save the event and reopen the match timeline. If the player is absent from the picker, check the competition roster and match eligibility; do not select a different person to get past the form.
5. Review the final score separately from the event list. Confirm the match status, then check the public report, scorers and discipline tables for the same competition.
6. Correct a mistaken event through its edit or removal controls. Recheck the affected player totals after the correction.

Entering a score does not name the scorers or record cards. Available event types depend on the sport, your permissions and the competition's player records.
