Steps
- Open your saved career in Coach and review the current squad and next fixture. Use the squad screen to check the players available to your nation.
- Select the players and starting lineup you want to use. Check positions, substitutes and any availability limits shown before confirming your choices.
- On the match preparation screen, find Week between matches and choose Train, Rest or Recover for the team's preparation. Review the explanation shown for the option you choose.
- In Training camp, set extra unit sessions to Off, Light, Balanced or Heavy. Off disables that unit's extra session; it does not change the separate Train, Rest or Recover choice.
- Review the injury-risk preview when it is available and check the squad's condition and morale. The preview is an estimate from the simulation, not a guaranteed outcome.
- Adjust your formation and tactics, then continue to the next match using the game's controls. Revisit the squad afterwards as form, fitness and availability change.
These controls manage a simulated career. For real players, use Club Office, training plans, availability and tactical boards; do not use game injury estimates as medical or fitness advice.
