Sports registration fees compared, 2026

What nine vendors print for a subscription and a per-registration fee, in their own words, with the date each page was read. Vendors that publish no number are listed as such. EasyChamp's row is read from the plan registry that prints /pricing.

The table

Quoted wording is in “quotes”. “Not published” means the vendor's pricing page prints no figure; “Not verified” means a figure exists somewhere but was not re-read from a vendor page on the date shown.

How to read it

Three things the numbers do not say on their own

A platform fee and an all-in fee are different numbers. Jersey Watch and Spond state theirs as all-in; EasyChamp has no transaction fee; LeagueRepublic's quoted platform fee excludes Stripe processing. Compare like with like.

All-in, both sides: a $325 registration costs about $9.73 with EasyChamp (0% plus Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30) and $12.06 using the dated SportsEngine HQ rate (3.25% + $1.50). Actual processing depends on the provider, country, currency and payment method.

The subscription is where the difference is. A subscription is paid whether or not anyone registers: SportsEngine HQ is $67 to $79 a month before its first registration, while EasyChamp is $0 on Free for competitions up to 8 teams, or $290 a year on Club, with registration, fixtures, tables and the league site in one account.

Entry fees settle to the organizer's own connected Stripe account. That is also true of LeagueRepublic and LeagueLobster (Stripe-connected). Where a vendor settles to its own account first, ask when the payout arrives.

Questions

Registration fees, asked and answered

Which sports registration platform has the lowest fee?
EasyChamp's transaction fee is $0; payment processor fees apply separately. The competitor rows quote the rates their pages published on each row's date. Some include processing and some do not, so compare the total for your payment amount, country and currency. LeagueApps, TeamSnap and SportsEngine Tourney do not publish a rate.
Does zero EasyChamp transaction fees include payment processing?
No EasyChamp transaction fees. Payment processor fees apply separately. Using the US Stripe estimate of 2.9% + $0.30, a $325 registration costs about $9.73 in processing. Organizer subscriptions pay for plan features; they do not change the zero EasyChamp transaction fee.
Why does the table quote the vendors' own wording?
Because fees change and third-party fee tables go stale. Every competitor cell here is the sentence the vendor's own page printed on the date in that row; where a vendor prints nothing, the cell says so rather than estimating.
How do I use this table?
Cite it. The URL is stable and every row carries its source and date. If a figure is out of date, the page footer has a support address; corrections with a vendor link are applied and the date updated.
