Steps
Set up channels in one click
In the console, open your tournament and choose the Chat tab, then turn chat on. The first time the chat opens it creates #announcements (only organizers post there), #general, #results-and-screenshots and #find-your-opponent. Add more in one click with a template: Esports pack, Football pack, a channel per group or a channel per round. Rename, reorder, archive or make any channel read-only.
Share the Join the chat link
Registered players get access automatically. To let anyone in, turn on public join: your tournament page on Watch and on your league website then shows a Join the chat button. Share that page in your group chats and socials. Players sign in or create a free EasyChamp account and land straight in the chat.
Collect results in #results-and-screenshots
Players post the final score with a screenshot. They can attach it with the image button, paste it or drag it into the message box (JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 15 MB). Tap an image to see it full size before you enter the result in the match center.
@mention players
Type @ and pick a name to ping one player. Organizers can use @everyone or @channel for match-day calls. Mentions show as a badge on the channel, so nobody misses the message meant for them.
Pin the rules and the schedule
Pin the rules, the check-in time or a schedule change. Pinned messages stay one tap away in every channel, up to 50 per channel.
Moderate with your co-admins
Organizers and co-admins moderate: delete any message, mute a member for a set time or until you unmute them, or remove someone from the chat, which also stops them from joining again. Players can post at most 8 messages in 20 seconds, which keeps spam out.
Each tournament has its own chat, separate from your club chat. Joining needs an EasyChamp account, so every player who joins also gets your schedule, standings and results in one place.
