Matchday · six steps

  1. 01

    Mount

Mount two compatible phones in landscape, angled outward with overlapping views.

  2. 02

    Aim & level

Halfway line, 3–5 m back, as high as your pole goes. The app shows a level bubble.

  3. 03

    Pair and prepare

Pair the phones and check both views before kickoff. Keep the whole pitch in frame.

  4. 04

    Record

Start the recording and let the phones capture the game from their fixed positions.

  5. 05

    Upload

Upload both recordings for early-access processing. Keep the original files until upload is confirmed.

  6. 06

    Watch

Early-access processing produces a panorama, follow camera and suggested highlights. Review suggested events before sharing.

What it does today, and what comes next

What the app does today, what we are testing on real club matches, and what is still research. A number goes on this page only when we can reproduce it on real amateur footage.

In the app today

  • Locked 4K30 ultra-wide recording: fixed focus and exposure, no stabilisation crop
  • Two-phone recording with left and right files named for the stitch
  • Setup guide and zoom presets for the ultra-wide lens
  • Free to download, no subscription

Early access: testing on our own club's matches

  • Auto follow-cam: a virtual camera pans the stitched panorama, driven by the ball
  • Player actions (passes, long balls, shots) proposed by the software and confirmed by a person before they publish
  • Highlight clips and an event timeline cut from the match

Research: no numbers until we can reproduce them

  • Shots, goals and pitch zones in metres after a one-time pitch calibration
  • Player identity without shirt numbers, and shirt-number reading where numbers exist
  • Pressing intensity (PPDA), distance covered and substitutions

The whole rig fits in a rucksack.

A secure dual-phone mount, a stable elevated stand and power for the full match.
