A Participant is our unified term for both teams and individual competitors. For team sports like soccer, a Participant is a team with multiple players. For individual competitions like FIFA or tennis, a Participant represents an individual competitor. This approach makes our platform flexible for all types of competitions.

For 1v1 competitions, you can register in two ways: 1) Click the "Join with my Participant" button on the competition page, or 2) Use a direct registration link provided by the competition organizer. When registering, you'll need to either select an existing Participant or create a new one by typing a unique name in the Participant field.

Yes! You can create different Participants for different competitions. This allows you to track your statistics separately for each competition or sport you participate in.

In EasyChamp: A "Participant" is the entity that joins a competition (either a team or an individual). A "Player" refers specifically to an individual on a team's roster (relevant for team sports with multiple players per team). For 1v1 competitions like FIFA, you'll primarily interact with the Participant concept.

For team sports where you need multiple players on a roster, you can add players after creating your Participant. However, for 1v1 competitions like FIFA, you typically don't need to add additional players to your Participant.
